The de-facto Leader of Mythos, Alissera Reth'aran is a Sorceress of Highborne lineage who has served long years of vigil in guarding Azeroth from threats within and without - and yet has done so from the shadows. Her many deeds have gone unassociated with her name, until the name of Mythos was truly established, and her at its head. Nearly eight thousand years of age, her service began long ago in training with the Sentinels of Ashenvale, though the undeniable pull of magic always called to her Highborne blood.Giving up the ranks of the Sentinels in order to follow a path of the arcane storm, Alissera spent the years of Highborne persecution in hiding as a village herbalist and medic until her kind was able to practice unpersecuted once again. With the power and secrets of the race from which arcane usage was borne, Alissera has taken to a life of helping others; using her millennia of experience to guide these hopeful adventurers with wisdom and efficiency. Were there anything or anyone that stood between Alissera Reth'aran and those she cared for, those she loved, they would face the cataclysmic wrath of the Eye of the Storm herself.

'As her proficiency with chaos increased, the hue of her previously azure eyes blossomed to a new violet color. To a stranger, their perriwinkle color would only speak to a deep infusion of arcane, but when she looked in the mirror, she felt her true self looking back - and she felt proud.'
"I WILL TEAR YOU ASUNDER, NOT ONLY FROM THIS WORLD, BUT FROM MEMORY AND TIME. ONCE I AM DONE, THERE WILL BE NO TRACE OF YOUR EXISTENCE LEFT."
'As the flesh ran down her throat and hit her stomach, she felt the afflicted cells in her body responding. At last, she held power over this ailment she had been afflicted with unwillingly, as her body's senses and strengths doubled. Brushing her hair back from her face, the blood on her hands slicked it backwards, and a wicked smile bloomed.
"Magnificent..."'
'The duty of the Blades was fulfilled, the eternal cycle broken, and their destinies intertwined - inseparable on the path they would pave together.'
'Her gaze absorbed not only the person's outside, but stared deeply into their very being, attempting to gauge what they were truly like beneath the surface.'
'Eventually, both Alissera and Nor'andir became more precious to one another than simply student and teacher. It only took them a while to be able to admit it.'
There was a storm brewing outside. The echo of thunder was vibrating in his bones and sending cold chills over his skin. He had shut the trembling window and closed the curtains and moved to his bedside... And when he turn to lay down, there was a frightening roar of thunder. The flash of it illuminated her shape, lounging on his sofa as if it were her home. Her cat-eyes shone from the darkness, unblinkingly watching him with the brutal apathy of a lion before a mouse trapped under her paw. A glass of wine slowly moved to her lips as she lulled:"I'll give you a few moments. Say your prayers... Then you will pay."
"Little fish from the Corlain Court... Do you truly think anyone would notice you swimming belly-up?"
'Katsuyu, or the Nine-Tailed Wolf, was proof that myths were based in truth. The ancient being and the Sorceress seemed nearly the same in their vain, power-seeking natures, and thus as gratitude for saving her from the dark greed of men, Katsuyu became the Sorceress' familiar and soulbind.'
'And for the first time in a long time, the woman who so often seemed to know the answer to each one of life's questions was found speechless. All that was left was to look back.'
'There were nights when she would anxiously hold her breath as she waited for the off chance that his wraith-like frame crept around the sidelines of the crowd she was mingling with. Those nights were over - she knew his shadow would inevitably show.'
'If you knew her not at all, you'd suppose from her charm, sensibility, quick wit and silver tongue that she'd be well suited for diplomacy.'
'Hungry eyes may fall on the Sorceress, but they are often met with the scorching inferno of the Hunter's spectral sight. In turn, those who prey on him face the ire of the Eye of the Storm.'
'On a fateful night, both Sulfar and Alissera changed from what they once were. Before, they were separate - Hunter and Sorceress. Now, they were one; mind, heart and soul.'
'As lovers often do, the two were often able to lose long moments gazing at one another with affection.'
